Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Everybody defines beauty differently. Therefore, we should not judge a person’s beauty just by looking at their physical apperances. I feel that physical appearances and inner beauty are equally important.

Presentable physical appearances can help us make good first impression. People tend to be more inclined into judging someone by how they give their first impression. Thus, having presentable physical appearances can help in building up the good image of yourself in others’ eyes. First impression on someone who has physical deformities is always worse than those who is ordinary as humans on the whole likes to see beautiful things. However, what is the real definition of beauty?

Good self esteem can be built up with inner beauty and good physical appearances. With inner beauty, one can find strength in overcoming their own flaws, making them more confident. In addition, good physical appearances allows the person to be treated normally unlike those with physical deformities. Being treated normally or even better to the extent of being popular can also make someone feel good. In that case, they can eventually build up their self esteem.

Imperfections such as character defects can arise when one lacks inner beauty. Nothing is perfect in this world. However, when one lacks inner beauty, they will have many ugly flaws that many find disgusting. A person may have the best physical appearances but if she has no inner beauty, her physical appearances is just an empty shell. It does not possess any quality that brings out the real beauty.

On the whole, physical appearances and inner beauty is important to oneself. First impression, self esteem and defects of the character can be caused by either the lack or possesion of physical appearances and inner beauty. Therefore, it is equally important to have the two qualities.

The last week of holidays is the most boring week. I spent most of my time doing my homework and going back to school for my CCA. School is reopening but i am still in the holiday mood. I think it is time for me the get my engine started and prepare to study hard for the next semester.

Went for my second camp during the third week. It is a leadership training camp therefore it will be more relaxing than the previous camp. By the way, I only have 1 day break between the 2 camps. It was very tiring for me and my squad. In the camp, I learnt alot of new things. We were told how to set our vision, new first aid and transportation of casualty knowledge.

We were also able to train up our confidence by being lecturers and teach the whole camp either on first aid or other topics related to my CCA. We also had a movie screening. The movie was very inspiring. It is about a coach leading his team to clinch the championship for basketball and at the same time, nurturing them to be useful people. The camp ended in no time and we were all glad that there are no more camps.

Had my first camp on the second week. I was told to go back to school. It was supposed to be an intensive training camp thus it will be tough. The start of the camp is followed by alot of scoldings and punishment. After the preparing of our bunks, we revised on our first aid skills then it was followed by the playing of games to improve the bonding between me and my squad. All these sounds relaxing but until later, we had endurance training. We are supposed to do all kinds of strenous activities. That left us having muscles aches and we were all exhuasted. When we finished our endurance training, there was bunk inspection. We were all being “pumped” by our seniors and it was kind of scary as everybody was shouting everywhere.

After bunk inspection, we went to sleep and we had to fall in at 3 a.m. he next day for our route march. We had to walk from our school to bedok reservior. It was tiring but we had a sense if accomplishment when we reached there. We then had breakfast there. Breakfast was bread with can food such as sausages and tuna. Upon finishing our breakfast, we took a bus back to school and carried on with other stuff. The camp was tiring but my squad has been more bonded after going through this camp.

Holidays have started. Its time to take off everything from my mind and relax. However, there was still a need to complete all my homework. The thought of homework just made me sleepy. Nothing really interesting happened during my holidays except for the camps that i have to attend. I will talk about my camps in the subsequent journals.

Some people tend to condescend themselves and take in all malign even though they are not true. Although they might feel mortified but they tend to be terrified to voice out their opinions and fend themselves. They should train themselves to be more candor and open up their feelings to the others. In that sense, they would not be encumbranced by the negative comments they have received.

After his parents death in an accident, Tom began to do things with apathy became indolent. He gets himself inebriated often and treats everyone as his adversary. The people around him found him pathetic and tries to help him but to no avail.

Tom is an insatiable and irrational person. He often earn his profit by exploiting his business associates. He also gets disgruntled easily and command revere from his workers. The workers hated him but to keep their jobs, they have no choice but to succumb to him.

The hikers were all ardent to culminate the pinnacle of Mount Everest. Finally, they fought all obstacles and accomplished their dream. They celebrated with exultation and they were all thankful for not faltering in conquering Mount Everest.
